Client’s Life Sentence Vacated – Victory!

After a long, hard, fight, the California 5th District Court of Appeal has just reversed a client’s life sentence. Thank you to L.L. and his family for your patience and for always staying positive over the course of these years. The result is terrific. A young man will no longer be serving life in prison–a great result for someone deserving of a second chance. At issue in this case was whether the client received adequate notice, based upon the pleadings and proceedings, that he was facing life in prison.
